You may be thinking that you should avoid full color printing in order to save money on your flyer printing job; however this can actually end up costing you money in the long run and will prevent your business growth from reaching its potential. Flyer printing in full color really will increase response rates from your potential customers and this in turn will increase your overall sales. When you compare the cost of full color printing to the profit increase you will receive it really is no contest between the two, ‘full color printing’ is still the very best and most cost effective advertising tool. If you really need to tighten your purse strings there are plenty of other ways in which you can save money on your full color printing job. Bulk printing for example, can help save you time and money with special bulk discounts offered to all customers who need a large quantity of flyers for their business.
Many people confuse four color printing with a being unable to include more than four colors in any flyer design provided, however four color printing is actually full color printing itself. Four color printing refers to the four ink colors commonly used in printing jobs known as CMYK. Your flyer printing is not actually limited to four colors but needs to include colors that are within the range of CMYK. If you are unsure about how to check this and ensure your design is CMYK only your chosen printing company will be more than happy to help you.
So why do you need full color printing for your flyer printing project? Why is full color so essential to increasing response rates today? Well, it’s actually very simple to see how full color printing can become so essential. Firstly, if you take a look at any large business advertising campaign they always print in full color (or spot colors). Even though you may be just a small business, full color printing has now become so common that customers expect it. Printing in black and white can actually repel potential customers who would otherwise be interested in your services if the flyer were only in full color.
Additionally if you compare any black and white printing job to a full color flyer printing job you can immediately see the difference it makes for yourself. Black and white printing is dull, lifeless and unappealing and it can be very hard to make out the design elements in many cases. With full color printing you can easily see everything clearly and concisely and the design really stands out as a beautiful, appealing and appetizing flyer design. A bright and colorful design can have a positive reflection on your business as well as provide a professional touch to your flyer design. If you flyer design looks professional, your customers are more likely to view your business as a professional and trustworthy one and this in turn will ensure you get more customers as well as ensure you don’t scare any away with a low quality printing job.
You may think that you are saving money by only printing your flyer in black and white or minimising the amount of color your flyer has but this can be a fatal mistake for many takeout businesses looking to save money on flyer printing. By cutting down the costs of flyer printing in this way, you are also cutting down the amount of customers you will receive. Customers will respond much more positively to a menu design that has been printed in full color.
One of the main reasons for this is because the images of the food will be much clearer and look much more appetizing in full color. High quality digital images with a high resolution and full CMYK color will look more appealing to potential customers. Black and white imagery looks dull, lifeless and is harder to distinguish what it is. Using bright and colorful professional imagery of the food you can provide for takeout services will be much more appealing to potential customers and make them seriously consider ordering from your restaurant. Customers will feel much more confident about trying new foods and more expensive options if they can see what the food looks like clearly with full color flyer printing for you menus.
If you are trying to save money by limiting the colors in your flyer printing you will only end up losing more money on potential customers who have gone elsewhere because the alternative menu they had looked more inviting. You may even find that people walking past will look at the flyers and imagery on your takeout restaurant and develop the desire to order takeout right there and then.
There are a variety of other methods to choose from to help you save money more effectively on your flyer printing without compromising your menu design. For example, always make sure you order your menus from the flyer printing company in advance as well as allowing around 3 weeks time between delivery and when you actually need them. This will cut down your shipping costs considerably as you will not be requesting a speedy delivery while at the same time making sure there is plenty of time in between for you to order more or make changes should the worst happen and a design error gets printed. Make sure you always order in bulk too which will give you bulk order discounts on your flyer printing. As a takeout restaurant or small business flyer printing is going to be your main method for advertising and will be the cornerstone of the custom you receive. It is therefore important you always have large amounts of flyers in stock and you will use them an awful lot through distribution over the course of your business. It therefore makes sense to take advantage of the bulk discount offers and order as many as you can as early as you can to ensure you have enough flyers for your business. Don’t compromise your flyer design with limited flyer printing colors, there are many other ways to save money instead that don’t harm your customer response.
Direct mail marketing rules are made to be broken, or
so I’m told. So break this one and see what
happens.
Direct mail pundits, me included, recommend that all
your direct mail pieces have an offer. The offer, as
you know, is the incentive that you give prospects
to encourage them to respond.
Offers are usually bilateral. You promise to do
something if the prospect does something. “Buy two
blouses and we’ll pay the shipping,” for example.
Or “book your appointment before 16 November and
we’ll send you a free Sample Seed Kit.” If the
prospect does nothing, you do nothing. Both of you
must act if the offer is to work. Offers are
bilateral.
Break this rule by making unilateral offers once in a
while. Instead of asking the prospect to do
something, you do something instead. That’s what a
car dealer in Australia did a while back. He mailed a
letter to his customers and enclosed a crisp $50
note. “Your trade-in vehicle sold much quicker than
expected, so we saved ourselves a little money,”
explained the letter. The customer didn’t have to do
anything to get the $50 The offer was
unconditional, or unilateral.
You can see the value in offers that ask for nothing
in return. In this case, which car dealer do you
suppose customers visited the next time they were in
the market for a vehicle?
I received a unilateral offer from Christopher Knight,
founder and publisher of EzineArticles.com.
Unannounced, he mailed me a huge coffee mug and a
wee note thanking me for being an Expert Author. He
didn’t offer me the mug in exchange for anything.
I didn’t have to mail in a coupon or take a survey or
visit a website or refer my grandmother. Christopher
simply made me a unilateral offer. And yet I
responded by phoning him during a busy day to thank
him for his kind gesture. Plus, I continued using his
services. So his unilateral offer did generate a
response from me after all. Funny how that works,
eh?

Business opportunity customers are the single most important piece of the puzzle when you are looking at business success. There has never been a successful business without customers. Someone has to buy your product or service to generate income. By definition a customer is someone who purchases, or intends to purchase, a product or service for sale. They do expect to buy quality products that have equal or greater value than the price they pay. Customers love sales and saving money but they have absolutely no expectation of being paid to make a purchase. Customers and lots of them are what makes a successful business opportunity.
Customers are attracted to a business opportunity product or service that is for sale in a number of ways which all involve some form of contact with people. Advertising in newspapers, radio, television and the Internet is geared toward attracting customers. Most business owners will endeavor to promote their business in as many types of media as possible. The bigger the audience the more likely you will get people who are interested in your product or service.
Advertising should appeal to one of the five senses. Visual and auditory stimuli are the most common and often the most effective. Most media advertisers will gear their ads to appeal to a combination of two or more sensory triggers. Many of our metaphors are entwined with the senses. Seeing is believing, and pictures are worth a thousand words, refer to the visual stimuli that entice the imagination and reinforce credibility. Creating a picture of your product or service will stay with a person longer than just hearing about it or reading about it. Powerful advertising that incorporates seeing, hearing, and reading about your product will increase retention of the information that you present. The goal of all advertising and promotion is to make a lasting impression on the people who see and hear the advertisement with the hope that they will purchase your product instead of a competitor product.
Tactile advertisement is very powerful. Sample products appeal to all the senses. You can see, feel, smell, read and sometimes even taste the product. Sampling lets you know right away if this is a product that you would want to use again. It also lets you know if it is a product you don’t want or need. Not every person who comes into contact with your product for sale will want it, or even need it, but they may know someone who does and tell them about it. Samples are never wasted advertising.
Consider using different forms of advertising and promotional materials to highlight your product in the best possible way. Featuring your product or services to as many of the senses as you can will help to you to acquire business opportunity customers.
